The Great Hall can accommodate various types of performances, ranging from theatre, movies, folk music, pop music, to classical concerts.
Since 1990, great artists of international renown have performed on the stage of the Great Hall of the Palace, including the following: PLACIDO DOMINGO; JOSE CARRERAS; LUCIANO PAVAROTTI; SABRINA - and the list could go on and on, including famous groups like URIAH HEEP; SCORPIONS; LORD OF THE DANCE; CHIPPENDALES and many, many others. Likewise, famous philharmonic orchestras from around the world have performed here, especially during the "GEORGE ENESCU" INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, which is hosted exclusively by the Palace Hall. |

| During the last year, the theatre plays performed at the Palace Hall have enjoyed a great success, due to the fact that private artistic agencies have bought these performances, which have been adapted and staged at the Palace Hall. The movies shown at the Palace Hall are exclusively premieres; an entire series of films have been launched on the Romanian market, and then went on to break all the Box Office records of the moment; here we can enumerate TITANIC, 101 DALMATIANS, 102 DALMATIANS, SAN FRANCISCO COP, STAR WARS and many other movies.
